The registration fees for the conference are as follow.

The registration fee covers accommodation for four nights with meals at the Kazusa Arc, the reception and banquet. The registration fee should be paid at the registration desk that will be open on November 28 (Sunday afternoon) from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Kazusa Arc. All payments must be in Japanese yen. The registration fee is \35,000 for participants who stay at other hotels. The fee covers two dinners (November 29 and 30) and four lunches (November 29, 30, and December 1, 2) at the Kazusa Arc, the reception fee, and banquet.
Since part of the student's registration fee will be supported by the committee, please apply for support with a guarantee letter from an official supervisor by e-mail to K. Igarashi. Financial support will be paid during the meeting.

Deadline for registration is October 1, 2004.
No proceedings will be published for this conference. Instead an Abstract
collection with detailed content will be printed. A copy will be given
to each participant at the registration desk. Each participant who wishes
to present a paper, either orally or by poster, is required to submit the
original abstract (in the given form) before October 1, 2004 to Dr. Kazuei
Igarashi,
iga16077p.chiba-u.ac.jp by e-mail. Some of the oral presentations will be selected according to
the content of the abstract. Detailed program of the oral presentations
will be announced on October 10, 2004.
Please refer to the attached abstract as an example. Your abstract will be photographed for offset printing and thus will appear in print as submitted. The abstract should be typed with double-spaced in 12-pitch font. The title of the abstract should be typed in capital letters. The abstract should be about one-and-a-half typed pages, leaving the remaining half-page blank for memo space. The abstract should contain up to three references and preferably one or two important Figures or Tables. Please describe three or four keywords to prepare the subject index for the abstract book and underline the name of the author who will present the paper.
Please prepare the abstract with Microsoft Word.
The size of poster is 120 (width) x 100 (height) cm.

Kazusa Arc is about 35 km southwest of Chiba. The weather is mostly fair in this season, with an average daytime temperature of 15 °C, and a minimum of 7 °C at night. Formal clothes will not be required.

For many nationalities, no visas are required to enter Japan. We suggest that you check with your travel agent for details.
Please use the Narita and Sobu-Yokosuka Line (JR) from Narita Airport to Chiba (45 min, 40 km), and then transfer to the Uchibo Line (JR) from Chiba to Kisarazu (40 min, 35 km). The trains from Narita Airport/Airport Terminal 2 arrive at either Platform 7, 8, 9 or 10 at Chiba Station. Then change to Uchibo Line from Platform 3 or 4. Total fee from Narita Airport to Kisarazu is 1,280 yen. From Kisarazu Station to the Kazusa Arc, a free bus service will be available on November 27 and 28. Bus is also available from Tokyo Station (JR) to Kazusa Arc (65 min, 40 km, 1,600 yen). If many attendants will arrive at the Narita Airport in the morning on November 28, we may arrange the bus from the Narita Airport to Kazusa Arc.
Monetary exchange (Dollar and Euro to Yen) is possible at the airport on your arrival, and at any major city bank, as well as almost all day long at the Kazusa Arc.
